Boxtree books have produced a series of season by season guides as companions to the award-winning television show Babylon 5. The guidebooks provide an episode by episode plot summary of each season. The guide released for the third series is by Jane Killick. As well as summaries of each episode the book contains comments from the series creator, J. Michael Straczynski, and other cast and crew members revealing their personal behind the scenes experiences. In addition the book contains a twenty page insight into the techniques behind the creation of some of the special effects and a selection of colour photographs.

This book provides an interesting insight into the making of the Bab 5 series as well as providing good summaries of the story line. The series guides are a must for the completist Babylon 5 fan, but would also be useful to those of us who have missed a few episodes and wonder if we missed an important plot twist..............
